Sydney studied Massage Therapy at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy. Prior to joining the team at Intuitive, Sydney was an integral part of the therapy team at a top Massage Therapy clinic in Vernon, BC for two and a half years. She is delighted to bring her practice to Chilliwack with Intuitive Rehab.
Sydney’s primary aim is to encourage and assist others to take control of their health by supplying them with resources and knowledge in order to succeed in living their life at the highest functional level possible. To enhance her professional knowledge, Sydney has taken additional courses in personal training and is currently enrolled at Thompson Rivers University in the Bachelor of Health Science program.
Health is not a “one size fits all” approach, and neither are the clients we see. Every client is unique and Sydney always aims to ensure each treatment plan is individualized and tailored to specific treatment goals. In addition to the manual portion of treatment, she guides provides home care focused on movement, biomechanics, conditioning, and other self-care tools to empower clients to take control of their recovery.

Prior to embarking on his Master’s degree, AJ completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology at Fort Lewis College and returned to BC to work as a Kinesiologist in a variety of clinical settings.
Education, client-centred care and empowerment are at the core of AJ’s clinical philosophy. AJ’s motto is: “Motion is Lotion” - indicating that the more active we are, the better we feel with our overall health. A.J. facilitates improvements within an individual’s health, function, and pain control by using a combination of exercise prescription, manual therapy (Orthopaedic Division Level 1), electrotherapy (Ultrasound, IFC, Shockwave), and dry needling/intramuscular stimulation (IMS Level 2 - Kinetacore).
